Community Guidelines
Keep the hive kind 🐝
The Collective works because it’s a supportive, all-audiences space for people navigating a hard season of their careers. When you post in a hive, start a conversation, or create a group, keep it welcoming for everyone.
Please don’t post
- Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks.
- Hate speech or discrimination of any kind.
- Sexually explicit or graphic content.
- Threats, intimidation, or encouragement of self-harm.
- Spam, scams, or content that isn’t yours to share.
- Others’ private information without their consent.
What’s shared here, stays here
The hive is a private space. Please keep discussions, group conversations, and anything members share within the Collective — don’t screenshot, repost, or share others’ words or personal details publicly or outside the hive without their consent. And please don’t copy, redistribute, or resell content from the Nectar Bar library; it’s here for members’ own use.
How we keep it safe
Anyone can report a post or conversation that crosses the line, and tell us what kind of issue it is (spam, harassment, hate, misinformation, explicit content, or something else). Hive admins and the Workaround Collective team review reports and can remove content. With members we generally use a graduated approach: a first upheld violation is a warning, a repeat leads to a temporary suspension, and continued or serious violations lead to removal from the platform. Serious cases — threats, harassment, or illegal content — can result in immediate suspension or removal.
Not a crisis or therapy service
The Collective offers community, mentorship, and wellbeing content — it is not a mental-health, medical, or emergency service, and mentors and creators don’t provide therapy, counseling, or treatment. If you or someone else may be in danger or crisis, please contact your local emergency number right away. In the US, you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), available 24/7.
These Guidelines may be updated from time to time. Any continued use of The Workaround Collective’s services constitutes your agreement to any such changes.
